The 2020 Honda CR-V recently arrived at our dealership, and it
has some noticeable improvements
and upgrades. These include enhanced power and an assortment of advanced
standard safety features.
Power and Performance
With the base 2020 Honda
CR-V, you will get a 190-horsepower 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine – which
replaces the 2.4-liter inline-4 – that’s mated to a continuously variable
automatic transmission (CVT). And if you’re trying to be a little more
eco-friendly, you’ll be happy to know that there is also a hybrid model. This
one comes with a naturally-aspirated Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter, inline
4-cylinder unit that works alongside two electric motors. This engine produces
212 horsepower. Both models offer great handling – especially around curves –
and a very smooth ride.
Tech
If you’re looking for a Honda for sale with loads
of advanced tech features, the Honda CR-V is for you. A 5-inch audio display
screen and Bluetooth® are a couple of the built-in components (wireless device
charging is standard in the Touring trim), but you can also get several others.
SiriusXM satellite radio, an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen,
Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™, push-button start, and navigation are all
available.
Safety
While safety ratings for the 2020 Honda CR-V aren’t
available yet, you can get an idea of what they will be by looking at the 2019
model. The new Honda CR-V comes standard with lane keep assist, pedestrian
detection, a collision mitigation braking system, and forward collision
warning, which are all part of the Honda Sensing® suite of safety features,
which is new for 2020.
The new 1010 Honda CR-V is at Keyes Honda right now, and
you can stop in to take it out for a test drive. We hope to see you soon!
