Honda Civic or Honda Accord? Let’s Help Woodland Hills Car Shoppers Decide

Can’t decide between the new Honda Civic or Honda Accord? We’ve put together this little guide that highlights some of their main features:

2020 Honda Civic Details

The Honda Civic sedan comes with a base 158-horsepower 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine. If you’re interested in the hatchback, that has a 174-horsepower 1.5-liter, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. For a little more giddyup, you can go with the Type R trim, which will give you 306-horsepower from its turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. All engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, but you can opt for a continuously variable automatic (CVT).

The Honda Civic has plenty of space for five people, and it also offers generous cargo room: 15.1 cubic feet in the sedan’s trunk and 25.7 cubic feet behind the rear seat in the hatchback. If you’re looking for advanced features, you’ll love what the 2020 Honda Civic offers. Bluetooth® and a USB port come standard, and you can also get HD and satellite radio, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™. Every model also comes with a rearview camera, lane keep assist, and a pre-collision warning and braking system.

 2020 Honda Accord Details

The new Honda Accord has two engine choices: a 192-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder or 252-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder unit. While the 1.5-liter engine comes standard with a CVT, the 2.0-liter is paired with a 10-speed automatic.

The Honda Accord also seats five, and there is lots of head- and legroom. The big trunk offers 16.7 cubic feet of space. Like the Honda Civic, the Honda Accord can be outfitted with the latest tech and safety features. Push-button start, a USB port, and Bluetooth® come standard, and you can also get satellite-linked navigation and a Wi-Fi hot spot. All models also come with traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
