2022 Honda CR-V Design and Updates

The 2022 Honda CR-V is now available at Keyes Honda. Some changes have been made for the new model year, most notably in regards to both the interior and exterior design. Find out what has changed and why this compact crossover is looking as stunning as ever.

Exterior Design

Several changes have been made to the exterior of the Honda CR-V. This includes slimmer LED headlamps and more pronounced elongated wheelbases. The grille has also been revamped with a stylish honeycomb and chrome design.

Additional changes in the front include redesigned fog light housing and machine-cut alloy wheels. In the rear, the spoiler has been redesigned and now includes an integrated stop light. Black cladding runs the entire length of the vehicle body.

Interior Design

In the interior, upper trims come with several luxurious amenities, including leather upholstery, a leather-clad steering wheel, and a moonroof. The infotainment system adds to the interior aesthetics with a redesigned five-inch touchscreen and an adjustable volume knob.

The rear provides 39.2 cubic feet of cargo room, providing a more spacious feel. The front seats also sit relatively high for a compact SUV, which helps to improve road visibility. In addition, the placement of the gear shifter gives the interior an elegant V-shaped design.

Other Basic Information

Apart from the base LX trim, upper trim options include the EX, EX-L, and Touring. All trims come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive. There is also a hybrid variant that comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to two electric motors.
