2022 Honda Passport Competitor Comparison

The 2022 Honda Passport is a midsize SUV and a staple in the manufacturer’s lineup since its inception in 1993. With midsize SUVs being a popular vehicle segment, there will naturally be stiff competition. Learn how the Honda Passport holds up against other SUVs in its category.

Honda Passport Vs Toyota Highlander

The Toyota Highlander is another well-known SUV. When compared head-to-head against the Honda Passport, the latter holds the edge in major areas. For starters, the Honda passport has more sizable 20-inch alloy wheels, compared to 18-inch wheels for the Toyota Highlander. In addition, the Honda Passport has a power trunk liftgate that comes standard. This is unavailable in the Toyota Highlander.

Honda Passport Vs Ford Edge

The Ford Edge is also a formidable SUV, though it falls short on some features compared to the Honda Passport. For starters, the Honda Passport has a roomier 100 cubic-feet cargo space with all the rear seats folded down, compared to 73.4 cubic feet for the Ford Edge. The Honda Passport also has a more robust nine-speed automatic transmission, versus the Ford Edge’s seven-speed automatic transmission (eight-speed transmission available).

Honda Passport Vs Kia Telluride

The Kia Telluride is a worthy SUV in its own right, but the Honda Passport still edges out. The latter contains nifty features, such as a 10-way power driver seat and a four-way power passenger seat, neither of which are available in the Kia Telluride. A heated steering wheel is also optional for the Honda Passport, whereas it’s not an available feature for the Telluride.
